Is This Your Business?

I entered the ADULT Area through a swinging door and was pleasantly surprised by the clothing on display. The BNA has a giant collection of DVDs, books, toys, and accessories for sale, most at moderate prices.
A pleasant young man, in his early 40's, gave me a friendly hello. As it was about 7:00 AM, and I was the only patron, we struck up a conversation. After I told the manager that this was my first trip to the Berlin New Agency, he asked me if I'd like to look around, and ended up giving me a personal tour.
We bumped into the friendly Maintenance man who was busy mopping the floors in every public area of this already clean
looking store. Both gentlemen were helpful and courteous, and it was evident that they enjoyed working here. The M man
lives in an apartment on the premises, and told me that he is available 24 HOURS each day in case there is a need for
maintenance or cleanup.

There were more video booths than in any other theater I've seen in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, and the video quality displayed was excellent. The bathrooms were spotless and stocked with toilet tissue and towels and soap. The hot water was really hot. The entire store and theater and video area were clean and smelled clean. The M man told me that this was the favorite job of his lifetime, and that his employer was not only a good man, but also a very kind and honest man. The night manager agreed.

Even though the cinema theater is in excellent condition, with several semi-private alcoves and padded sofas for lounging,
there is new and enlarged theater in the planning stages now. They hope to have the new, refurbished, and improved theater finished by the end of July or early August, and promise it to be the finest facility of its type on the east coast. The parking lot, which I was told is overflowing on the weekends, is also being enlarged.

Concerning the NJ "No Smoking" Law: The management is very aware of the $1000.00 fine for business owners who do not keep their establishments smoke free. Large signs are posted at the entrance and in the video booth area. Occasionally someone smokes in a closed booth and stinks the place up. They wanted me to ask All Patrons to report anyone smoking to the manager IMMEDIATELY so the smoker will be ejected and barred from the BNA. I'm a non-smoker too, and I can't stand the smell of cigarettes or stale smoke.
