Take Center st (RT 4) and turn at Cumberland Farms at the intersection of center st and river rd. go about 3/10ths of a mile and there is a boat launch on the right hand side. It's adjacent to Higgens Sport Center, behind a Wendy's Resturaunt.

  • They have opened the gate so this is open for the season. Water is still a bit high and not much cover on the trees but it's open.

    Some decent noontime traffic for folks working downtown areas. A food vendor as set up for the summer just down the street in the parking lot so that might increase some of the lunch folks.

    Still a place for some action as it's a bit off the radar for most folks - just use caution and common sense.
