cruiser Update 1/14/2008: 2 main cruising areas. Enter park from Plenty Road. Turn right at first opportunity and follow road to 1st toilet block. Keep following the road around and arrive at 2nd toilet block where there is usually more action. If entering from Curtain Street, turn right at first opportunity and then left at next one then just follow the road as described above---
Three cubicles (full-length doors and full-length viewing-crack between 2), and 2 urinals. Gets busy in area by urinals with groups developing at peak times. Hot nights, walk into park from Curtain St.
Crowd: Tradies, Uni students, truckies, reps and a few 'pensioners'.

    After hours fun: Park in Smorgy's car park and walk across to 2nd block.

  • Warnings:cruiser adds: Police do occasionally patrol the park, but don't hassle you. Really, nothing they can do about people sitting around at a park. That's what park's are for!

    Lots of lookers in cars, waiting for Brad Pitt to arrive -- they can be off-putting as you don't know if they're police, who occasionally visit (in uniform and out of it).
