Follow the main road west out of Eastbourne. parallel to the promenade, until you come to St Bede's private school on the left. Walk down the lane next to the school, until you see the sea below you and climb down the steps to the beach. The naturist beach is to the right. You can walk round to Beachy Head if you wish ~ most of the way naked, but watch out for the tides. plenty of spots to sunbathe/cruise.

Cruisiest Spots: past the last sea wall onwards - Nudity / Policy:unofficial nudity, but accepted. the usual putting on shorts when texiles come past (there will not be many) is the obvious thing to do

- Warnings:in places people can see you from the top of the cliffs, but you can choose to sit in a place, where this doesn't affect you
Warnings: watch out for tourists passing you. they are unlikely to catch you doing anything, as you can see them coming in the distance

(You have to be logged in) Add Comment2011- not as good as it was, Waterworks on cliff was very good but now both often have visits by police helicopter.

was there today 22/ june 2010 not worth going before about 12.30 lunchtime during week , the lane down to the steps is exactly where Helens gardens on seafront ends then the lane the the school walk down lane to end you will come to steps down bout 85 of them ! once you get to bottom nudist area is to your right but 2 groins further down dont plonk urself at base of steps all traffic goes further down , quite few dog walkers out on a sunny day ! will venture down on sunday and repost
