A local gay bar, not the nicest, but certainly not the worst. Pretty cool place to have a good time. Good music and drinks.

  • The Triangle is now gay again. The best times are Friday and Saturday nights. Tons of hot, young black guys, if you're into that. Many of the Triangle's patrons go down Dort Hwy., after 2:00 am. to the parking lot behind the State Bar to party after hours, perfecting their dance routines. Several hotties walk over to behind the old semi-trailer for late night hookups.

  • Now that the weather has turned cold, there doesn't seem to be many guys parked along the back edge of the parking lot, Sunday night through Thursday night. Friday and Saturday nights are somewhat better. Those that show up usually do around 11:00 p.m., however since it's now getting dark after 4:00 p.m.,, there's no reason to wait so late. Party early and party often.

  • Sorry, wrong sides. The State is on the west side and the Triangle is on the east side.

  • The State Bar is still the State Bar. It's on the east side of Dort, about 1/4 mile south of the Lippencott. The former Club triangle is on the west side of Dort near Lippencott.
