Do not be nude in view of vacation homes. This is the south afterall. Remember, they thought the movie "Deliverance" was a love story. Most beach goers men and many times it will be just you.

  • The directions are a little screwed up. This location is actually WEST of Gulf Shores. From AL-59 head WEST on Fort Morgan Rd. About 7 miles out you will begin to see signs for Bon Secour Ref.. About 8 miles out take a left onto Mobile St. 2 miles straight out to the beach and parking is on the right.

  • I'll be in Gulf Shores about the same time as Hung_Stinger. I am also one of those that have tried to find this refuge before. Any body out there want to give us more precise directions. I'm familar with the road to Ft. Morgan. Hung Stinger -- take a look at my profile and see if you might be interested.
