Follow signs to Portelet Common/Nature Reserve. The road is marked as a dead end, but there is a car park at the end. Walk seawards, through an opening (an old gate). The area is between the gate & a German WW2 Bunker on the edge of the headland. Down on the rocks below too in summer or take first road on left towards portelet hotel, staying on that road (don't turn off) you will come to a t junction sign, carry on down road passing private houses on each side, there are sleeping policemen so take care, you will then come to a gravel carpark, look for the nature reserve sign showing you a map, take the path next to the map, keep to the left path when it splits and up to a concrete wall, from there path splits again, left path takes you into the trees, right path takes you up to a german bunker on the headland and then down to the rocks, usually naked sunbathers in summer, on the right path there is another bunker on the left as you go down, you can get into the bunker but is tricky, entrance had been bricked up but there is a reasonably large hole to squeeze through, can be dangerous if your not careful.
