Drive a few miles south of town. You will see the turn off for Buggy's Beach. there is a fence along the parking lot and then a second little turnoff just ahead. pull into there and the restroom(s) are in sight.
Cross street: along S. Tongass Highway
  • Crowd:Everybody
  • Hours:As far as I know, bathrooms are open 24 hrs. (at least until midnight, though, I am sure)
Best times: At night, after if gets dark. Especially after 10 p.m. when there are less people around.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Park in the parking lot by the restroom and wait or sit down on the drifwood logs just down the trail on the beach and look for other cruisers.
Cruisiest Spots: Around the restroom and in either of the parking lots.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:Yes
  • Warnings:Restroom is too close to the parking lot.
Warnings: Just because someone is sitting in their car does not mean they are cruising - people sometimes go out there to reef up. Trail by the restroom gets lots of traffic. Must be quiet and discreet if you are "using" the restroom.
