Cruisy beach and parking area, and a very cruisy restroom too (north one is best).
Crowd: Bi guys just looking for some fast relief, guys in their 20s and 30s mostly. A few older guys can be a real bother, but just ignore them.

Neighbourhood: Just north of Kona Town.

Either take Kuakini north until it ends, or take the KMart Road (Makala) west below the Queen Kaahamanu, and turn right after Swing Zone.
Cross street: Kuakini (entrance next to Swing Zone Golfing Range)
  • Crowd:Bi guys just looking for some fast relief, guys in their 20s and 30s mostly. A few older guys can be a real bother, but just ignore them.
  • Hours:Mornings between 7 and noon, or afternoons between 1 and 4PM.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Make eye contact, you will know when the feeling is mutual. Park next to, or close to a guy alone in his car, he is likely there for the same reason.
Cruisiest Spots: At the very north end of the gravel lot. Guys park and when eye contact is made, they either go for a walk to the beach, or park where it is a little more private for some fun in the car (or truck). The beginning area right next to the skating rink is pretty good too.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Nude sunbathing area is on the lava about 1/2 mile walk from the north end of the gravel lot. Just follow the beach and apparent trail over the lava flow.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:The restroom can be totally filthy, and a few of the older guys can be very obnoxious and ruin tricks.
Warnings: Maintenance workers are around alot, but they mind their own business. I've seen Police patrol a few times (watch it, the speed limit is 15 mph).

whos coming to Old Kona Airport State Park

  • Still a popular place, especially for the guys on the low-down. A walk to the far north end of the park leads to some trails just off the shore. Yes, there may be some seniors there, but some of them are really talented!
