From the old part of Marrakesh, walk to the new part (Nouvelle Ville). The main thoroughfare going there will be Mohammed V. It is a street that has shops, restaurants, and streetside cafes.

  • Hours:Afternoons and evenings.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just be open to having men say hello to you. The chances are good that if they strike up a conversation they want to get to know you better, and that is most likely for . Their native language will be either Arabic or Berber, but it would be best if you can speak some French, as this is the most likely common language that they will have with visitors.
Cruisiest Spots: Once you get beyond the post office, you will be in the main area where the young and handsome guys will be looking for you!
  • Nudity / Policy:no nudity
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:The guys can be very insistant about wanting to talk to you. This refers mostly to the ones walking around. If they are shop-owners, what they want you to do is buy something from their shop. A few shops employ young men to get visitors to go to their shops. Chances are that if they talk about their shop they want you to buy goods, but if they talk about themselves, they want you to buy THEM. That being said, their prices are fairly cheap - anywhere from $1 to $10.
Warnings: Police may be on the lookout for Moroccans who are fraternizing with foreign visitors. Also, it will not be possible to take these guys to your hotel room, in most cases. I would advise against getting into a taxi with them, expecially at night, to go to their place, as you have no idea where you could be heading.
