Is This Your Business?

Take a walk on one of the many paths. Explore nature, while hopefully exploring bodies as well. There are lots of trails, some of which are across the road next to the clearing. You can almost always find a remote spot to play. Mostly , but I have seen some .

  • Crowd:All ages. Very diverse crowd.
  • Hours:During lunch/After work/Just be dark.Dates open: all year. guys park in lot during winter
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just keep your eyes out, and you are bound to find someone else there cruising. Guys ride there bikes and stop, as well as motorists parking in other lots.
Pay for parking if you leave your car. They do patrol and give tickets to expired meters.
Cruisiest Spots: In Parking lot. Or take trails back to the left. There is also a trail to the right that leads to a spot on top of the hill. To avoid joggers or hikers, take one of the more narrow trails. The regular park trails are wide enough to drive on.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Mosquitos. It can get quite buggy at times. Lots of animals, so noises all around. Makes it a little challenging to keep a look out. People letting their dogs run without leashes.
Warnings: I have seen undercover police there. Each time the person was dressed in Khaki shorts/pants and a white shirt. They drive regular cars. Just use common sense.

  • Love this place. Still very active. Currently the beach parking lot is under construction, but the bog and the fishing dock lots are still active. Hit the trails. Avoid the old trolls. And plug those parking meters or get a parking pass... those park police need to meet their quotas. Oh, and cops... just keep it on the downlow... if you're too obvious about what you're doing, then you will attract the wrong kind of attention.

  • shane yes is the answer. also if you park, pay and get out. It may encourage someone driving by to pull in and do the same. the best is to hike up the hill and cruise around the top area.

  • Stopped by the other day, but the parking lot was empty except some woman in a minivan. Is it worth paying to park and hike around even when the parking lot is empty? Are there guys that come in from another area or walk from their houses?

  • Alert!

Hey guys. Keep an eye on the park maintenance guy. He drives a small (ATV?) pulling a trailer. He was definitely keeping an eye on the Beach House parking lot today. He also was watching the trail on the south side of Glenwood that goes off to the west through the swampy area. As soon as I went off the main trail, he came down with his vehicle...and radio in hand.

Just keep an eye out for him.

  • Went by this place the other night, it seemed pretty small, and didn't see many, I would say that the trails that would give the best hidding spots, and a great crusing area would be right off the offical mtb trail, there are a ton of spots there where you could not be seen, and there is free parking at the golfers parking spot, anyone interested in meeting me in this area, email me!
