Is This Your Business?

The Phoenix offers the biggest and most sociably inclined crowd of boot-wearing, cycle-riding, leather-loving scoundrels. The Phoenix is just a short stroll or cheap cab ride ($5.00 including tip) from the French Quarter, in the historic, recently rejuvenated Marigny district. The Phoenix has plenty of free parking right across the street from the bar, and hard as it may be for out of towners to imagine, we never close. Open 24/7.
Crowd: Leather, levi types.

  • I went there last night, was quite busy but 95% were well over 50. If that's your thing then you'll have a good time. Its not mine so I had one drink and left. The staff are friendly and the place is what you'd expect from this type of bar. It might only be a $5 cab ride there but getting one back is almost impossible and its quite a long walk back to French Quarter.

  • I love this bar. It can be very fun, but it is just too dark. Turn the lights up a little so we can at least see who is attached to what we are doing!

  • I was in there Monday night. It was great. Thanks to MR. Louisiana 2004 and his buddy for giving me a great welcome upstairs and the other leathermwen that showed me the patio. Oh yeah the bartender are very accomodating. Dakota
