cruiser update 3/19/2009: Upstairs was totally "dead." Not only have the GH's been sealed, they have warning notices posted all over the place about undercover cops entrapping unsuspecting patrons and charging them with either prostitution or being a "john" even if no money is exchanged or discussed. Talk about kill joy!

  • The holes have had wood panels screwed over them. I noticed less monitoring yesterday.

  • stopped by this place last tuesday and according to the guys there the downstairs pit will not reopen until they get a permit from the city. in otherwords, the things we had done downstairs before it was closed will remain nothing more than a memory.

  • Was there briefly this week. Booths upstairs are still there, but only two booths seem to have a hole between them. The downstairs area was closed.

  • What subway would I take to get to Bijou? I want to check it out next time I'm in New York.
    Thanks

    Commented on 8/11/2008 2:22:50 AM

  • Bijou is actually only a few blocks away on 4th street between 2nd and 3rd ave. If memory serves me correctly the entrance is just a few feet past the corner cafe and is on the left side of the street, actually it's real easy to walk right past this place without realizing it. Now with this video store, has anyone been here recently? I just wanna know if they finished rennovating the basement yet.
