Yadkin River Greenway Walking Trail
A paved walking trail with lots of potential. Can walk from dawn til after dark. Lots of side paths and places to get out of sight, under bridges and side foot paths around corners, etc. Can get your exercise if not a lot of cruising activity at the time. Can hang out ALL day without looking suspious and cruise alot. Lots of benches and picnic tables and shaded areas to sit and stay cool while getting hot. Shaded area in cove around bend on wooded foot path at top of hill foot bridge or under either bridge. Bridge at CVS not cruisy at all, too busy and no room for play and privacy.
Crowd: All types. Mostly health conscious.

There are several entrance areas. Across from Cook's Sporting Goods store and another in CVS parking lot.

- Hours:Daylight hours or right at dark, sometimes can get away with walking (cruising after dark)
Best times: Just hit or miss. No real definite times. Just keep checking and trying.
Dates open: 365 / 24 / 7 no gates or hours open walking area to entire public - Cruising Info/ Tips:Wait til you see someone coming either under the main road bridge at the old YMCA, when they have seen you, walk down to the river bank under the bridge. Talk to them and let one thing lead to another. ALSO, stand at the top of the footbridge (at the county office building path) When you see someone coming on that part of the walkway, when they have seen you, walk out the little path around the corner or under the foot bridge. If they follow they are likely cruising also. Wear very tight and skimpy shorts showing a lot, bulges, cheeks etc. or maybe even the actual equipment when you sit down, going down / out the leg in shorts while talking to others or others looking at you. Stroke it some, get it hard, etc.
Cruisiest Spots: Under the bridge near the river close to the old YMCA and flower nursery store and market basket convenience store. Also at the top of NEW foot bridge going toward the county office building --- there is a little dirt side trail (path) right at the top end of the foot bridge. Go out there around a little indentation to a little cove or down under the foot bridge to get busy. - Nudity / Policy:Could be possible to get nude on foot path cove at top of hill foot bridge or under main bridge near river at old YMCA.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No
- Warnings:Just have to keep your eyes and ears open and attentive. Be on the look out for others coming or around those areas or other banks. Fishers there just fishing not cruising. Also coffee tavern has signs up of no parking, parking for their customers only, but people still park there but scares others away to park else where.

By perfect, I meant it's a perfect place for cruising at dusk. Not so perfect is the lack of guys making use of this place. I hope it catches on. I will try again whenever I'm in Wilkesboro.

Been here twice. Once broad daylight. Wasn't really sure I saw adequate places to disappear off path. But no potential players turned up. Went back again at dusk. Perfect. Except still didn't see anyone there. Not even the couples who had been there during the day. Will search out path at top of courthouse footbridge next time.

I meant, maybe the other guy will pull on his crotch some too, in reply. Not you pull on his crotch when first meeting or passing. At least not until you both know that the other is interested. I'm not that crazy going around groping others, when first seeing them. I got some emails about the last posting. Happy cruising guys.
