Rooster Rock State Park

I-84 exit 25, 25 (Rooster Rock State Park exit), drive to the far east end of the parking lot and look for the public restroom building. A short distance east of the restrooms you will see a stairway leading down to the beach. Be sure to wear shoes! You will have a good half mile hike east through local beach growth and mud before you start running into the posted CO signs. (There is a sign on the stairs with directions to the beach). There is a Clothing Optional beach and a nearby island (Sand Island) that is within wading distance.
