Downtown San Salvador

Is This Your Business?

CINE METRO is an old building. It's from the 70's and it shows. It is right at the corner of a very busy commercial district. I have never seen anyone get in trouble or harassed in any ways inside or while walking in the neighbourhood.
Crowd: Straight/curious men. Gay men, young men (you have to be at least 21 to enter, but who knows), old men, country men, straight couples and every now and then a tourist pops in.

Neighbourhood: Centro Historico de San Salvador

Who's Coming

Straight/curious men. Gay men, young men (you have to be at least 21 to enter, but who knows), old men, country men, straight couples and every now and then a tourist pops in.

Everything is close by in San Salvador. From Metro Centro take any bus that goes west (towards town) and tell the driver you are going to Parque Libertad. The theatre is one block west of the Teatro Nacional and one North of Parque Libertad. If you MUST ask for directions, ask for directions to el TEATRO NACIONAL, and then walk from there.

  • Hours:I think they open at about 11am daily. Closing time is 7pm. Entrance is $1.85 and you can stay there as long as you want.
Best times: All day, but from about 1pm to 5pm is when I have seen it most active.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Most people are there to blow or get blown. Men sitting towards the front should be left alone as they are there to watch the movie (). Some men/boys will insist to go to an "HOSPEDAJE" with you, I wouldn't. You never know what they might be planning.
Cruisiest Spots: The back of the theatre and the rest room. If you go to the rest room, make eye contact and then agree on where to sit. The darkest part is the back rows, that's where all the sucking takes place.
  • Nudity / Policy:The workers DO NOT CARE what goes on in there. The only think I have never seen is an actual couple having . Other than that, anything goes...
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / NONE. In fact the first thing you will see is the ticket booth at the bottom of the stairs.
  • Warnings:Every now and then the queens take over and make loud comments about other patrons. Rest room floor is always flooded!
Warnings: I wouldn't go there with expensive jewelry. A simple watch should be enough. Most people there seem to dress to impress, I don't know why, it's dark in there, you can barely see the people around you...
