Several secluded areas below Scarborough Bluffs are frequently used by nudists. The boundaries of the area are the Toronto Hunt Club Golf Course to the west and Bluffers Park to the east. The directions above lead to the west end of the area. The Bluffs draw small crowds and are popular with gay men. Be advised that the bluffs are unstable; over the years several people have died when they were trapped under collapsed sand. Use this site at your own risk. Also, while police tend to turn a blind eye to nudity here, it is still a good idea to cover up when you see a police boat patrolling the shoreline.

Who's Coming

Drive along on Kingston Road going East, passed Birchmount Road, after the football field on the left, turn right at the traffic light. There you will see the Rosetta McClain Gardens. Drive past the garden, past the apartments on the left, and tend to the right and turn to Fishleigh Drive. Park on the side of the road and find the steep path leading down to the beach area. It is marked by those short wooden barriers.
OR...From downtown Toronto head east on Hwy 2 for ten kilometers to Scarborough and turn right (south) on Warden Avenue. (Just past the Toronto Hunt Club Golf Course). Proceed to end of Warden and park. A steep path leads down to the lake. It appears to be sealed off by fence, but there is an opening. Once at the lake turn left (east) and you will soon encounter nude bathers.
  • Crowd:Mostly gay sunbathers.
  • Hours:Warm summer days.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Traditionally clothing optional.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:often have straight people walking their dogs, so you need to talk past a few of the beach sections when you find a more quiet area.
    Warnings: I saw a lot of broken beer bottles so be careful when wearing sandals.
