Wilson's Creek Trail starts at Battlefield Rd and West Bypass and runs south along the Wilson Creek to Republic Rd (Route M). Trail wooded and high path is paved. There are non-paved paths that run along the water. Has a couple of sitting area's and parking area (see map link).

Neighbourhood: SouthWest Hwy FF& FR168

Wilson's Creek trail has two entry points: 1-West Bypass (aka Hwy FF) and Farm Rd 168 (see map link above, this entry has parking) and 2- West Bypass & Battlefield Rd (Frontage Rd parking behind Mini Storage, park at end of road)
  • Hours:Warm days during afternoon and sunset.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:The trail has several places to rest and lots of wooded areas. This is a public park so be careful, most folks are straight and will say a friendly hello. Don't mistake this for a "sign".
  • Nudity / Policy:No nudity, No , it's a park in Springfield! What you do in the woods is another story.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Yes, paths are paved. There are non-paved paths which may lead to more fun :)
  • Warnings:Like with any public place be careful and discreet.

  • was out there today around 7 to 8 pm ... there was a few guys but no one wanted to hook up

  • I was jogging there one morning around 6:30 am and came upon 2 men in a truck in the parking area up the road from the recycling center. I saw one man on the drivers side and as I got closer another man sat up in the truck on the passenger side. I'm sure he was giving the other guy head. I acted as if I did not notice and kept jogging. Later on I saw them coming out of a wooded area on the north side of the parking area. I think there is some activity there but I have not seen anymore since then. I have been jogging there probably six more times and have not seen any more action. I am going to start hanging around to see if anyone else shows up though. It is a good location off the beaten path to make a good hookup. We need somewhere else to go other than Lake Springfield and Phelps Grove Parks.
