Is This Your Business?

Lovely breezy walk along the waterfront from the Zocalo area to a dark park that set down below street level.
Crowd: Chicken hawks, or what are left of them. Interesting young men with nothing to do, wandering eyes. Your Spanish is required.

Neighbourhood: Centro

  • Directions:All the taxis know the Zocalo!
  • Hours:Early evening. Don't ever solicit boys, as in underage here, as the police are eager to entrap solicitors of underage and you will go to jail. There has been a huge cleanup in ACA in this department!
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Forget underage boys entirely! But there are many slightly older types as in twenties and some fishermen, etc. who learned early how to make some bucks. Nearby are rock bottom hotels you can go to.
Cruisiest Spots: Along the Malecon, that is away from the Zocalo across the Costera on the beach/waterfront side. Much safer.
  • Nudity / Policy:Too public, with families and vendors, etc.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:It can peter out early, like dead quiet by 10pm. I wouldn't take anyone home to my room but ask them if they know a cheap hotel or spot (assuming you speak Spanish.) No one speaks English here, it is very local.
Warnings: Hmmmm! The police shouldn't bother you if your quarry is not chicken types. If police stop you, you can usually bribe your way out. I haven't seen much police there actually. Beware of groups of boys as usual. Not really a AYOR area though. Just smile at what attracts you the most.
