Who's Coming

Cruisers and tourists.

From San Juan use RT 22 till end then RT 2, from Arecibo areas travel west on RT 2 till you see the beach from high above on the road. You will then see a sign for the beach. From the west, Aquadilla airport about 30 minute drive east on RT 2 to beach sign on right takes you under the road to the beach.

  • Hours:Evenings and very late into the night, best to check it out during the day first since lighting is poor at night, moon lit nights are beautiful there and you get great visability.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Do not approach anyone in cars since lovers use the parking lot also. Just walk near the beach or around the grove and you will run into many men, a little conversation helps to weed out any possible under cover or or any hustlers. Just respect the locals and take your trash with you. Even the men cruising will frown on litterbugs.
Cruisiest Spots: Most cruising occurs in the coconut grove just next to the parking area.
  • Nudity / Policy:Nudism is not allowed, but it is a beach so proper beach ware is always acceptable. Puerto Rico law requires you to always wear a shirt when driving, shorts or pants too of course.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Parking lot is unimproved, it is gravel and sandy, not very good idea if you use wheelchair.
  • Warnings:Public beach so don't be stupid, like anywhere you go on this planet, be aware of your suroundings, that trick may be after something else. I felt relatively, safe been there many times.
There are no public restrooms but plenty on fast food places where you can go nearby.
Warnings: Use your common sense, not everyone there is cruising. Also, beach is not recommended for swimming, very dangerous tides.
