Plage de l'Espiguette
This beach is on a large, remote, undeveloped stretch of coast which extends for kms. The geographic situation makes it possible to stroll for miles without clothing. There are no restrooms or showers, but there are roving beverage vendors, and umbrella rentals in a couple of locations. This beach is extremely popular with gay men, sometimes there are even men handing out free . Many visitors believe this to be the premier gay beach on the French Mediterranean. The beach is clean thanks to a series of garbage containers and the water is great for swimming.

From Aigues-Mortes head southwest on route D979 for 6kms to junction with D62b, head south on D62b for 1.5 kms and turn south onto D255b for several kms. to its end where there is a parking lot. Go to beach and walk southwest (left) for 15 to 20 minutes to gay area.
