The park is open year round, 8:00 am until sunset. Numerous parking areas near picnic areas that lead to secluded trails.There are over 12 miles of trails in the park including Indian Ladder trail. This park is open to the public, that being said the possibilities are endless and long as care is taken as families frequent the park also.

John Boyd Thacher State Park is a state park located 15 miles southwest of Albany, New York , Albany County on State Route 157. cruiser adds: Head to the main ridge then go to the right past tables and the gazebos etc. Guys go jogging there all the time.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Cruise parking lot and park, get out and walk around and check out overlook. Mingle, approach single guys you see and play it cool. This area has extreme possibilities if proper care is taken.
  • Nudity / Policy:Public Park, need I say more!
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Not that I am aware of.
  • Warnings:State Park Police patrol park and are on site most of the time. But park is very large and they can not be everywhere all the time. Park is way way to big so slip away and have some fun.
