Plage de Piemanson
This nude beach styretches 4 kms eastward to the mouth of the Rhone River. It has been officially sanctioned as a clothing optional beach since 1972. This beach is also sometimes known as Plage d'Arles and Plage de Salin-de-Giraud. Though not as popular as Plage de l'Espiguette to the west, this beach draws a good many gay men.

From Arles head west on E80 freeway and take the first exit after crossing the Rhone River. Head southwest on route D570for 2kms.,turn left on D36 and head south 33kms to Salin-de-Giraud. Continue straight through town, D36 becoming D36b for 12 kms to parking lot near end of road. Walk to beach and walk east (left) along beach to nude area.
