This trail was created for mountain biking, but is open to hikers. The start of the trail is a short steep section with a couple of switch backs. The trail splits at the top, both ways are about the same distance and they come back together shortly. The trail the follows the ridge until it gets to a radio tower, then starts back down toward the creek. here it splits again. you can either choose downhill (better for hikers) or Roller Coaster(great for bikers). At the bottom, you follow the creek. this is the highlight of the trail. You follow the creek all the way back close to the parking lot. This is the most senic part and makes it worth hiking again.

Trailhead: Located in Athens, TN (between Knoxville and Chattanooga). Take the Athens-Decatur exit(hwy 30) and travel east about 1/2 a mile. The park is on the right. The trail will be on the left before the parking lots. (Lat:35.27414 Lon:-34.38317)
Crowd: There are some hot men that frequent the bathrooms here. You can find them at the front entrance to the park, over by the pavillion, they have a playground area also, but they are usually filled with children during the day, so do not cruise these areas.
