If coming from West on Washington Road, take right onto Broad Street and then left on Milledge Road. If coming from downtown Augusta, take Broad to Milledge Road and hang a right. Stay on Milledge past the Greenjackets Baseball Stadium to stop sign and hang a right into gravel parking lot.
Cross street: Broad Street
  • Crowd:Middle-aged men mostly cruise this area.
  • Hours:24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
    Best times: After 11:00 a.m. and before night fall. Primarily Monday through Friday.
    Dates open: All Year Long.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Most guys tend to cruise using their cars. Some men hang out on the pedestrian bridge, over the canal, near the Radio Station. Walk or bike along canal and you could run into someone. I have!
    Cruisiest Spots: There are several cruisy spots on the Augusta Canal. You can walk/jog/bike the path along the canal and make eye -contact with prospective "friends". But the cruisiest spot is the gravel parking lot at the end of Milledge Road near the Radio Station and Humane Society.
  • Nudity / Policy:Don't do it cause there are straight people who use the area for recreation.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:It can get kinda hot during the summer so make sure you wash down there before heading out. :)
    Warnings: There are some police patrols through the area, but they are watching for drug activity more than public .

    I have been informed by someone claiming to be law enforcement that increased arrests are coming in the Augusta area.
    As there is no way to confirm this please be cautious and if you have any further information please post.
