The park is used by disc golfers, usually in groups and on weekends there are usually families picnicing here. If you see guys by themselves walking the paths, there's a good chance.
Lots of wooded areas to play in. Just keep your ears open for kids if you are near the main trails.

  • Warnings:Poison ivy and the possibility of snakes. Attendants in the park ride along the paved drives throughout the park know what's going on, but I have never known them to do anything.
    Warnings: I have heard of one police trap here. Everyone has heard the story but no one knows anything about it. Never hurts to be careful.

    I have been informed by someone claiming to be law enforcement that increased arrests are coming in the Augusta area.
    As there is no way to confirm this please be cautious and if you have any further information please post.

  • Was there yesterday at noon - quite a few guys around who were cruising, but I didn't get a good feel for where action takes place. Will go back this a'noon, tomorrow and Thursday to check it out.

  • Hey guys I grow up in Augusta and this was one of my old stomping grounds it was a great place to get off back then. When I went home it was still the same old place, hopping busy. But I did notice that some wooded area was clear but there was still plenty of wooded space down the path. Have fun p.s. if you are an old pro at cruising you should not have any problem telling the difference between us an a cop. But I never seen a cop there, out and about, but I have seen them drive thru the parking lot.
