Artists ------------------------- Dandara Odara from Salvador, Brasil; and the Austin Samba School Description ------------------------- Carnaval Brasileiro is Austin's Rio-style Mardi Gras. The best party in town since 1978. Carnaval is Austin's biggest and best party. Doors open at 8pm, non-stop live music begins at 9pm. We are now offering a VIP option, the Samba Circle Lounge which is located in a private space behind the stage with enormous windows facing the lovely downtown skyline. It is a $25 add-on. It affords you easier access to bars and restrooms, complimentary coat check and room to breathe! We will have plenty of seating and tables so you can get off your feet. And, while supplies last, you can claim a FREE Carnaval poster to adorn your home! Admission to the Samba Circle Lounge will be by wristband you will pick up at the will-call window at our box office. You will still need to print your tickets or have the confirmation email available to scan on your smartphone. In general: We will have a coat check. The building is non-smoking. No outside beverages, we have more than 50 cash bars in the room. Cameras and video recorders are allowed, but be respectful. Dress for comfort, not for speed!
