About 7 miles south of San Luis Obispo and 5 miles north of Pismo Beach off US 101. Take the Avila Beach exit Follow the signs toward Avila Beach for 2.0 miles
As soon as the golf course is visible, look for a road to the left going uphill Turn left on Cave Landing Rd. Follow the road to a dirt parking lot at the end.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:It is a big bad world play smart and safe. Get info from gays in San Luis Obispo area. Wait and observe others to see what and where. One road in and out. Is probably a service road for oil tanks and a scenic overlook because of Ca coastal access laws.
    Cruisiest Spots: In the brush and trails near parking area
  • Nudity / Policy:Some risk of law enforcement people.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Always the possibility of police, but I never experienced them.
    Warnings: Could fall off cliffs if not in shape. A few voyeurs have fallen trying to view nudists. The law could show up, but have not ever heard of arrests.

  • went by the cove this weekend it was very slow there, didn't see much. they now have good trails marked going down to the beach.
