Praia do Pinho

Praia do Pinho is located on the Atlantic coast in the state of Santa Catarina in the extreme southern portion of Brazil. Praia do Pinho is accessed from route 101, which runs north-south near the coast. About 70 kilometers north of Florianopolis and a few kilometers south of Balneario Camboriu, there are two turnoffs on the east side of the highway that form a loop road. Either turnoff leads to the beach. The southern turnoff (i.e., closer to Florianopolis) takes you past Estaleiro Beach and is the quickest approach. The northern turnoff (closer to Balneario Camboriu) goes past the beaches of Larangeiras, Taquaras, and Taquarinhas. Buses from Florianopolis make a stop at Praia do Pinho. Next to beach is Praia do Pinho naturist resort, which provides camping and a restaurant.
