Daisy Bank Picnic Area
Felmersham road
Lovely quiet picnic area no local houses apart from one about 50 yards away (local kennels) car park very secluded, lots of bushes and open fields to get lost in, best in late afternoon or evenings. I go there a lot, can myself stupid without any fear of interuption, to far out for police to be bothered.
Neighbourhood: Carlton
From Bedford, go out on A6 north towards Kettering, two ways to get there, first through Oakly, pavenham and into Carlton, as you come down hill into Carlto there is a cross roads, turn right between two houses and follow the road for approx 1.5 miles, when you pass Daisy bank kennels and cattery it's about 50-100 yds past on your left.
Other way is stay on A6 to Milton Earnest, turn left in centre signposted Garden centre, follow this road to Felmersham and go through village past Church to fork in road at Felmersham bridge, Turn left towards Carlton and follow this road all the way along until you get to Daisy bank on left, if you get to Kennels you've gone past it.
Warning - dont use Felmersham way if heavy rain, the netire Village gets cut off with floods.
