Syresham - layby off old A43 just east of village
Former A43 east of Syresham
Long secluded layby off what used to be the A43 to the east of Syresham village, heading towards Towcester. Road is quiet now anyway, but layby is well hidden from road with great cruisy woods along the right hand side.
Leave eastbound new A43 at B4525 Syresham sign, and then turn right towards Syresham village. Follow old A43 until past the village and almost rejoining the new A43 bypass. The layby is on your left.
- Not sure if this site is in use (or was before it was bypassed) but it is a great location, comparing well with the others all along the A43 through Northants.
