From Buffalo, take Rt. 62 south to Gowanda. South Of Gowanda, take Rt. 86 to Rt. 62 north to Gowanda. In Gowanda take Water Street, it parallels the Cattaraugus Creek. Keep following Water Street, it will become Broadway. Turn right go up steep hill. watch for Point Peter Rd. on your left. Take Point Peter Rd. to tiny Valentine Flats Rd. on your left. Drive to the dead end and park. Follow the well worn trails down the steep path to the creek.
