Olde North End Wooded Beach

The wooded area is on the rocky beach of Lake Champlain just North of the Community sailing Center. The dirt trail starts at the Sailing Center's dirt parking lot's north west corner. Visually you can spot this area by a large abstract concrete sculpture (resembling Stonehenge) which is just west of the Burlington skate Park. The Sailing Center itself is housed in an old factory type building. The trail first takes you to the private rocky sunbathing areas but if you continue for about 15 to 20 yards the path diverges into the wooded forest area which has several different cruising pathed areas.
