Canoe Medows
Hwy 40
The surfing there is great to watch, I used the Green tounge as the marker as it will get you to the parking lot of the medowes. Alot of gay men Kayak here, you can meet them when they are changing in the lot. I have had a few encounters here as I loaded up my yak. There is a lockable washroom there you can find it handy.
Neighbourhood: Kananaskis
Take the Number 1 from Calgary turn off at the Kananaskis Exit, onto HWY 40. Turning Left onto the 40, you will drive about 10 min then you will see the medow's parking sign. THere you are easy as that.
- Hours:Early morning as just after 4pm when everyone is changing and the rapids have turned off.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:I have just gotten lucky, would love to see more guys out.
