A toilet block just up from Nerang Pool in Commonwealth Park.

Neighbourhood: City / Reid

There is a footpath from the city into Commonwealth Park or, even closer, an underpass from the car park off Constitution Avenue. Just turn left when you come out from the underpass. From the City, walk across the footbridge into the park and start walking to the right up past Nerang Pool. You can also park up near Regatta Point and walk down.

  • Hours:In my experience, weekdays from about 5.30-6pm until it gets dark.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:I didn't even know it was a beat until a friend tipped me off recently. I often drop by in the afternoons while running by the lake and have met a few guys there over the last few weeks. I've met a couple of young, shy, str8 boys and a hot Italian guy who was obviously out running like myself. My friend says he's mainly seen cyclers and runners and the odd backpacker. There are benches near the water feature nearby where you can see if anyone goes in. I don't know if there's any protocols really. I just relied on eye contact.
  • Nudity / Policy:It's a public place, so obviously discretion and consideration for others is required.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Yes, handicapped access and cubicle.
  • Warnings:It's actually a really nice little corner of the park. A bit hit and miss, but hot guys when they are actually there.
