Plage de la Batterie
Plage de la Batterie is the gay beach of Cannes and also nudity is freely tolerated. The central part of the beach tends to be straight, gay men gather at either end, but particularily the west end. To reach the latter, climb back up to railway tracks which follow coastline (watch for trains!) and walk west (right facing the sea). After a short distance you'll come to the first of two footbridges across the tracks, access the sea from either bridge. There is nude sunbathing on the rocks here and the area is quite cruisy. Virtually everyone is naked. There is usually a snack vendor on the main beach during the summer. Public transit is available from Cannes. Take bus #200 on coastal route and get at Batterie stop.

From Cannes head east on route N7 for several kms. Plage de la Batterie is just before the village of Golfe-Juan. Watch for parking lot on north(left) side of the road, just before a Shell station, and park. There is a staircase down to tunnel under the road leads directly to the nude beach.
