Costa de Caparica -Trainstop 19
Caparica is a lower middle-class beach resort that has passed its peak. But it has its charm (though not if you're into architecture). Part of the fun is that regular 'boy next door' guys go there. Splendid swimming indeed, never saw the Atlantic more beautiful. The beach is about 150 meters wide and almost white. Careful with surf sometimes.

Take the bus from Lisbon, 25 mins. In Caparica take the small 'Disney' beach train and get off at stop 19. This is where the gay nude beach starts. Check out the shrubbery in the dunes.
