Easily accessible beach county park (no charge) -- lots of straight nude beach action on north side, but the real guys action is up on the bluffs under the old abandoned coastal road bridge. There are al ot of places to hide and as well. Watch for cops up above.

Bates Road exit off of US101 by car. Bates Beach is the park on the Santa Barbara side of Bates Road.

    Cruisiest Spots: Dirt path on north side -- under old railroad trestle.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Carp cops and Santa Barbara Sheriffs keep watch.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Uniformed Carp cops and Santa Barbara county sheriffs DO patrol when the number of complaints from Rincon residents gets too high. Be discrete and cool.
