  • Hours:Toilets are open early, 6am and are usually closed by a council worker at 9pm in summer.Earlier in winter.
When the toilets are shut, action can work at night down the nearby track adjacent to the toilets also the dune areas further north work as well but I've never personally been to them during the day or night.
Best times: Times will vary, and like most places alot depends on a of a lot of luck. I've often tried it around 4pm - 6pm after work and uni is over and a few more people head to the beach.
Summer is always busier, especially tourist season in January, so best times can really be whenever.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Make eye contact over the cubicles with other potential cruisers. One cubicle has a bit of a peep hole and is directly opposite one of the cubicles, so look for guys entering the toilets and try and peer over the doors which aren't that high. If you are in a cubicle and someone heads into the , peer over the door to see if they look around to see if anyones in the house ready for it. You can always hang out in the nearby park right near the toilets at the bench if you want to discreetly watch for comings and goings, but your best bet is get into a cubicle, or shower area, and just hope a dude comes in with the same intentions as you.

At night head to the carpark, check for cars and hope for the best by heading down the track.

To increase chances to meet up, messages are sometimes left on the toilet doors with times/dates and other details. Always a decent idea if you want to meet at a certain time and to attract the types you are after.
Cruisiest Spots: Toilets and showers are located seperate and away from the surfclub at the back end of the carpark. Find a cubicle and wait it out for someone to come by.

  • At night, when the toilets are closed, the best spot is the track alongside the toilet area or down on the beach, though its very quiet at night usually.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Old dudes. Old dudes. Old dudes. Not all the time, but the ones that do head there are persistent, ugly and annoying.

Of course the other pet peeve is this place can be very hit and miss. Can be quiet in winter.
Warnings: None really to speak of. Just watch for straight locals using the toilets and be a bit discreet.
