Cruising Gays

I have been today, and I am going to go on next Wednesday. I agree with below opinions, that very nice place but not for action. If u are very discret and have some lucky you could hook up someone, but to play in another place..

if you're going to be creepy go to paradise, if you want to see some smokin' hot guys and don't mind being discreet, this is the place. i picked up a hot latino the other night. it's not that hard just don't be that guy.

on another note it's getting colder this place will be packed out soon, it's worth your while to check it out...

I think that both sound correct to me. Don't come here if you're looking to cruise, but if you can discreetly look the occassional show offy BelAmi type boy, you should. BUT BE WARNED: The Russian guys that come here can be scary--one threatened me for looking at him too much--and he wasn't even a hot one I was looking at. These guys aren't playing around; I was afraid to leave. I've never hooked up, but I think that's probably because I'm just a little past my prime--and it's just too tricky.

I agree and disagree with the post below. There's a lot more guys that go to this place than just old men. I've been on nights where you think your in a bel ami movie. There'll be 15 or more pretty good looking russian/eastern european guys in various states of undress, plus you'll usually get more than a flash of genitals. It is true that most are pretty straight, but I've definitely gone home a few times with some really good looking cool guys. Sure you gotta be discreet its not like paradise sauna, but you can always take it somewhere else. Not to mention it's really clean with amazing heat...

A friend of mine works here and I've been several times. I know most of the staff and some of the regulars. This is not really a cruisy place and its $25 just to walk in the front door. Most of the cilentele are middle aged and older men from the "Old World", (Russian, Bulgarian, Polish...) who come here for the sauna and to drink a beer or play cards with their straight friends. Not too many customers here are what we would traditionally call "hot" but sometimes, and unpredictably, there is a cute in-shape guy in for a sauna. Most people where a towel at all times, but you'll get the occasional flash of gentials if thats what you're looking for. I've never seen any action here, and I don't think you could do much even if you wanted to since everything is just too public. The masseurs are strictly non-sexual and some fathers even bring their school-aged sons here to sit in the sauna, so its almost a family atmosphere at times. Management has a stated policy against "leering" or "suggestive behavior" but I guess if you were very very discreet you might be able to find a friend here to meet somewhere later...but overall this is just a place where straight old men go to take a sauna and get away from their wives. When I want cruise action, I don't go here because you could go hours without seeing anyone you thought was remotely attractive and/or interested in some fun....there are several more reliable places around when you need release, like especially the last car of the EL train...
