He’s the founder of Tropical Bass netlabel Terror Negro Records and one of the promoters of Lima’s budding new Digital Cumbia movement. His style is always both danceable and aggressive combining the likes of cumbia, reggaeton, zouk, tribal, trap & moombahton. He has released 4 records in his own label and with collaborator such as Caballito (Spain), Subklub Records (Argentina), Mas Fresco (Texas) and Track Meet (Dallas) and has shared stages with artists ranging from El HIjo de la Cumbia, Chancha Via Cricuito & Super Guachin to El Barba Dub, Dengue Dengue Dengue, and Villa Diamante. Additionally, his Terror Negro Crew produces parties featuring touring South American talent such Peco Kumbia Style (Argentina), Brujjas Deejay (Argentina), Tropikore (Venezuela), Dash Selektor (Colombia), and Sonido Martinez (Bolivia-Argentina). His music has been featured in Thump (Vice), Fader, Generation Bass, Nu Cumbia Experience, Cassete Blog and more. About TURBO SONIDERO: Turbo Sonidero Futuristico is a music producer hailing from San Jose, CA who blends Rap/Hip-Hop with Cumbia Sonidera to create a new sound he calls “Tumbia”. In 2010, he moved for a few years to his father’s hometown in Puebla, Mexico to immerse in the Cumbia Sonidera Culture. While in Mexico, he played and toured all over the country and has played shows with acclaimed artists such as Ana Tijoux, Kool A.D., Los Rakas, Toy Selectah, Kap G, Ozomatli, Trill team 6, Chico Sonido, Antwon, LaSanta Cecilia, Nortec Collective, and Mexican Institute of Sound. He has also been invited to play at music festivals such as the OMF (Oakland Music Festival), FMEL (Chicago), C2SV (San Jose) and L.A. Visionary Sounds.
