No trucks allowed on the parkways. It's almost exclusively outdoor action, including complete nudity if that's your desire. This is a considerable amount of acreage sandwiched between the Parkway and the Hudson River.
Crowd: During the day, retirees. In the late afternoons, it's a smorgasbord.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Stay close to the parking lot at first to hook up, then disappear into the woods.
    Cruisiest Spots: Walk west into the woods, at the fork bear right.

  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Tourists actually stop to take in the view, however, they stay close to the restaurant. Have never seen a tourist in the woods, although ocassionally you may come across a 'birder'.

  • You can also walk the trails in the woods along the river. There isquite a bit ofactivity there

  • I was arrested (along with at least two other guys that same day -- one who was 73!) at this site on July 11th. Uncover cop very aggressive about his pick-up. "I've heard from my friend this is a great place to meet people. I've been to clubs in the city, but not here." He said several times that he wanted to "watch" and said "That's what turns me on." Asked if I wanted to "receive". I even asked him if he was a cop and he said no. Charged with public lewdness.

  • pulled in there today i got the feeling it was cruisy there were a lot of tourists there but i did see some single guys in their cars reading papers does anyone know if the cars should be approached is there a signal or should you just go into the woods
