Playa Suecas
Update 5/6/2008:The beach is correctly known as Playa de los Suecas, or in English, Beach of the Swedish Women. It is located on Isla Contadora, one of the Pearl Islands, 30 mins by plane from Panama City.
This is an official nudist beach. However, anyone coming here should know that there is very little gay life in the Pearl Islands. Contadora island itself is very small (you can go round it on a bicycle in 30 minutes), but it is very beautiful. Guys coming to visit Playa de los Suecas will be able to bathe nude at this beach, but on the 3 days I visited, there was no-one else there. The beach is not well-frequented, but this beach, and a large number of the 200 other Pearl Islands are very beautiful.
The accent is on being nude here, or taking your partner, rather than coming here to cruise and meet other gay guys. I think it very unlikely that this would happen. If you like exploring remote beaches or sailing to your very own island where you can be naked, this is for you. If you want gay action, go to Puerto Vallarta or Rio de Janiero.
