Pelekas 'Lagoon'

Is This Your Business?

Very calm, shallow lagoon that is usually 5-10 degrees warmer than the sea. Sheltered from any wind. Clothing optional, and almost always a dude around during the season. Really beautiful place to relax and enjoy the day, and I have never been there a day that I did not see some sort of action or invitation. Way less crowded than other places, sometimes you have the whole place to yourself.
Crowd: Tourists(Europeans from everywhere), and locals... young and middle aged Greek and Albanian men. Occasionally, there are women that find their way there. The locals seem to anything that moves so they get some too.

Neighbourhood: Just South of Pelekas Beach

Follow signs to Pelekas town, and then to Pelekas Beach, being sure to take South road. There are signs for 'Yaliscari Beach' on this same route. Once you get down the steep road to beach level, drive South following signs for Yaliscsari Beach or 'Maria's Place'. There are two points of access. By heading towards the small Municipal Pier, there is easy parking, and it's close to beach level. Walk south along the coast. Scramble over a few rocks and eventually come to the lagoon/ beach. The other way, takes you closer to Yaliscari Beach on the road. In the pine forest it's usually obvious where to stop because there are a few parked cars. There is a hidden sign, obvious only when looking up at the car from the trail that says 'Nudist'. If you see that, you are in the right place. Looking down, you can see the rocks and the calm small lagoon. You may also notice some people sunning themselves. From this access, it is a steep hike down to the rocks or the sand.

  • Hours:During the day to hook up with other tourists(Europeans from everywhere). Late afternoon/ evening/sunset you meet a lot more local young men that come around for a swim and a good time after work.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Don't be shy - anybody that goes there knows what's up. If they are hetero looking for women, they will ignore you. If they are interested in men, it will be 'HARD' not to miss the obvious. If you are not interested in someones attention, just politely ignore them.
Cruisiest Spots: The whole expanse. Many guys meet and go elsewhere. Some around in the rocks on either side of the sandy beach. If there are not too many people around, happens right out in the open. I have to admit to fooling around right in the center of it all while on the beach with a local.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / As long as you stay covered up by the Municipal Pier, clothing optional on the rocks and lagoon beach are totally accepted. Most ual/crusing activity takes place out of the line of sight from the pier.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:I have not found a pet peeve yet.
