Who's Coming

Currently being developed into a cruise park.

Travelling along 5th St, cross over the railway tracks and turn right by the Apple Tree Grocer. If you continue along 5th St, you can turn right onto either Willemar or Woods. All three roads connect to 1st Street right. Puntledge Park is along 1st. There is a washroom (concrete grey building) right alongside 1st St situated by the entrance to the park. There is only one and one though. The has a small peep hole to view guys taking a leak. The park itself is probably a good place to meet up with someone. The trails meander through the woods and there are all sorts of great places to hide off the beaten path for a quickie. The best time is in the evening just before and after dusk. Otherwise the park is pitch black and seeing anything or anyone would be impossible. Be informed there are families with kids and joggers/bikers/dog walkers during the day. This has never been an established cruise area in Courtenay, but I think it could be a great place to hook up for fun times. The washrooms are locked up by security around 11:30 p.m.
