The park is very large with two sides separated by the Flint River running through it. Some of the pavillions are active when traffic is low. Most of the trails are active, however because the park is so large, you'll have to be sure that someone sees you park and go into the trails. Be aware that all the trails connect back inward and that someone could come from the other direction.

I-69 to Irish Rd exit. North 5.5 miles. Park is on the east side of Irish road.
Cross street: Coldwater and Irish Rds
  • Crowd:All types.
  • Hours:8am until dark. Open everyday, all seasons. Limited access during winter.
    Best times: Monday thru Friday around lunch and again around 5pm. Park is less active on weekends, usually due to family reunions and other functions.
    Dates open: Open all year.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Don't drive the park excessively, you'll stand out. This is a known cruising spot and is prone to sting operations. No matter how hot, it's best to stick to the guys you've been with in the past. If you're new to the park, approach guys carefully.
    Cruisiest Spots: Pavillion 1, river access sites, and most dirt road locations.
  • Nudity / Policy:Don't go totally nude. You will not have enough time to dress if someone drives or walks by.
