Otsego Park

areas

Is This Your Business?

A neighborhood park with a few baseball diamonds and wooded areas. Park is usually only open during the day and best times are (obviously) during the warmer weather. During the "lunch hours" there are quite a few people there. Some looking, some not. Not sure if it's cool to cruise the parking area. They do have public bathrooms but didn't see any signs of cruising there, too out in the open. It is a public park, though there has been no police activity that I've seen. There are no signs prohibiting you from walking around the park or the woods.
Crowd: All types that I have seen so far: young, old, str8, married, joggers, etc.

Neighbourhood: Deer Park

    Cross street: Commack Road
  • Hours:Daytime only, I believe park closes at dusk unless a ballgame is being played.
    Best times: 11am-4pm
    Dates open: Throughout summer season
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Be discrete as this is a neighborhood park, though no one goes in that wooded area unless they're looking.
Cruisiest Spots: Go to the furthest parking lot once entering the park. There's wood lines throughout but at the end of the road where the Fire Dept. practices make a left. On your left there are old bleachers next to a trail. Take that trail and that leads you into the wooded areas.

  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:None so far, but I'm sure the usual applies.
