The Grande Dame of all cruising places in the capital. The area is badly lit which kind of makes it ideal to move about in relative anonymity. On Sunday evenings, the gardens are rocking with over a hundred men hanging around, waiting, looking and just checking out the scene. If you are a novice and looking to meet other men, this is the place you should start with.

Cruising area is in the part opposite the Ashoka Hotel which is the Gay cruising area, including the rope bridge and the surrounding gardens.

  • Generally in India, it's quite unadvised for foreigners to cruise in parks at night as there are a number of undercover cops who'll try to arrest you to blackmail you (knowing that they can very well pretend that they caught you in action, even if it's not true). The depenalization of homosexuality in India is a good step in the right direction, but the cops who used to make good extras on this kind of business are not going to let the money go that easily, so watch out !
