Is This Your Business?

An open air cruising area lined by trees & bushes and with views across the beach in Denia. This area was once the entrance to the access road into the port of Denia before it was remodeled and a new road layed alongside. This is the reason there are now trees and bushes surrounding a small open area.

Neighbourhood: Port of Denia

No matter which direction you approach Denia from just follow the signs for the 'Port/Puerto'. Once you come to the port area of Denia you will be on the Carretera de Les Marinas which runs along the coast. If you are coming from the south (Javea) then the port will be on your right side and the town on your left. If you are coming from the north (Oliva/Gandia/Las Marinas) then the port will be on your left. If you you are coming from the west or the AP-7 toll road then you will pass through the town of Denia but you still need to follow the 'Port/Puerto' signage. Half way along the seafront of Denia on Carretera de Les Marinas there is a roundabout junction clearly marked 'Port/Puerto' also with signage for 'Balearia' & 'Escomar'. This is the new road into the port and the crusiing area is immediately in the left as you enter this road. There is plenty of parking on the road or in the unsurfaced car park on the right.

  • Hours:This is an open public area with plenty of places to go and not be seen. I have found it to busy during the afternoon siesta period (1400hrs > 1630hrs) and then early evening and once it gets dark.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:This is a small area so seeing who wants to be found is not difficult, just follow your gaydar. The action seems to take place in closed clumps of trees during the daylight hours or on the beach side of the trees after dark.
  • Nudity / Policy:From my experience there are few inhibitions here whether it be day or night.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / This area is mostly on level ground with easy access to those who are less mobile from the Carretera de Les Marinas end of the area.
  • Warnings:I have not heard of any problems in this area but it needs to be remembered that this area is very close to the town and is in the entrance to the port so a lot of people pass by on the roads outside. The police pass by all the time but are not in the least bit interested in seeing what is going on unless they want to join in.
