South Staffs Railway Walk

Take the A449 to Himley and at the lights take the B4176 towards Bridgenorth. After about half a mile turn left into Himley Lane, you will see Sandyacre Nursery and farm shop on the corner. As u go down the lane just past the farm shop u go under a bridge, immediatley as u go under the bridge you need to turn right an the gates to the railway walk are there. There is a 6ft hieght restriction and the road takes u up into the Railway walk, with a few car parking bays and picnic areas. If you park near the top you can wait an when you want head off into the woods from there.If you do wanna meet up after the gates are closed there is parking for about 2 or three cars just in the layby near the entrance and you can head off into the area on foot.

• Hours:Anytime but watch out for dog walkers/cyclists and the rangers that occasionaly pass through. At the moment the gates are shut at 7pm, eill keep you updated on closing times as we get into autumn/winter time guys.
• Cruising Info/ Tips:Park up in one of the parking bays an just wait to see who's about. It's an ideal place to go if you meet anyone in the Wall Heath Cottage.

• Warnings:Rangers are about but not that often, get u the usuall dog walkers, cyclist about but there are plenty of wooded areas to explore.
